I have always been in love with dolls, and doll houses, and interiors. I have
degrees in elementary education and interior design. I taught for 12 years at the University of North Dakota Williston, and then
continued on to practice commercial design. Most recently, I owned and operated my own business, Professional Business Interiors. My
husband's job has brought many advances, and with the last promotion we relocated and I left the business. I do work
from our home, drawing and designing floor plans for contractors. I love working on the computer with various drafting programs. I
have also just earned my real estate license and hope to be working with a broker soon.
I am mother to four wonderful children, including a set of twins. My twins were born prematurely and spent the first three months of
their lives at the University of Minnesota Hospitals. When my husband and I went to visit them, I was in awe watching the tiny babies
there with them, fighting for each breath. I believe in miracles, as my two miracles got to come home after having heart surgery, and
one having brain surgery. God makes each baby a true miracle of life.
My grandchildren are very special to me, and I have eleven of them. They are such a joy to be around, and we try to share time with
them as much as we can. I have named many dolls after them, as I find certain things that remind me of them.
